Welcome Home
John D. Larkin founded his modest soap company in 1875 based around just two products. A yellow laundry soap coined Sweet Home Soap was one of those flagship products. The product was quintessential to Larkin families, eventually becoming a part of an affordable, years supply Combination Box. Not only was Sweet Home soap sold to families, but also sold by families. The Larkin Club became the soul of the mail order business and pushed the company into a pattern of success. Ten housewives would form a club and each contribute a dollar monthly. The secretary would purchase the Combination Box and distribute the products and premiums among the club members. Larkin products and premiums made it possible for customers to furnish their homes, stock their pantries, and clothe their children. Nearly 150 years later and the feeling of home Sweet Home is ready to return to Larkin. Selections of studio, one, two and three bedroom layouts will provide you with the ideal accommodations to call home.
